Research Project Manager

Kacie Bogar, MA

CAMP Staff

Kacie is a public health researcher and practitioner who works as a Research Project Manager with CAMP. She holds her Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology and began her public health career working for a local health department during the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this role, she gained valuable experience seeing how data and research can inform real-time practices around addressing health disparities and supporting the needs of a community. Prior to joining CAMP, Kacie worked as a research project manager at the University of Pennsylvania supporting projects relating to the intersection of drug safety and climate change. Through attending conferences and volunteering with local harm reduction organizations, Kacie realized her desire to have a career in the harm reduction space and use her skills as a researcher to support individuals with substance use disorder.

Kacie’s work is motivated by her belief that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare services, her love for the city of Philadelphia, and her desire to see her neighbors thrive. Outside of work, she loves salsa dancing, reading, and enjoying time with friends in the best city in the world.
