From Classroom to Clinic: High School Students Get Hands-On Experience in Addiction Medicine

Eighteen students from 11 Philadelphia high schools spent the summer as interns in Penn Medicine’s Center for Addiction Medicine and Policy (CAMP), where they shadowed Certified Recovery Specialists in activities that reached across West Philadelphia to individuals with substance use disorder.
