Perinatal & Reproductive Psychiatric Services

CareConnect's Warmline expansion now includes perinatal and reproductive services to support pregnant and parenting people experiencing Substance Use Disorder.

The CareConnect Warmline expansion is a public health initiative that includes a dedicated Perinatal Reproductive Psychiatry Consult Service, designed to support healthcare providers caring for pregnant and postpartum individuals experiencing mental health or substance use challenges. Through this service, clinicians can access expert consultation from a multidisciplinary team of reproductive psychiatrists and addiction medicine specialists affiliated with Penn Medicine, Temple Health, Drexel University’s Women’s Care Together Program, and the Pediatric TiPS Program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The consult line offers timely, provider-to-provider support on diagnostic questions, medication safety during pregnancy and lactation, treatment planning, and resource navigation ensuring patients receive coordinated, compassionate care during this critical life stage.
