Prison Program Partnerships

Individuals that leave the carceral system often are not provided critical services upon release. Our team here at CAMP partners with the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Corrections by leading recovery groups inside the prisons, as well as support individuals upon release at a mobile trailer based outside the prison grounds in an effort to address immediate needs for successful reentry.

Services may include:

  • ID card
  • Community resources
  • Medications for OUD (eg. Suboxone)
  • Clothes, toiletries, basic living needs
  • Peer support and advocacy

Prisons located off State Road:

  • Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center (PICC)
  • Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility (CFCF)
  • Alternative & Special Detention (ASD)
  • Detention Center (DC)

Resources:

Compass Application – Benefits, insurance, SNAP
